In-Line Turbidimeter

The TurBiScat PM 40 measures turbidity in beverages, optional also colour in beer; MEBAK / EBC / ASBC conform. The TurBiScat thus additionally becomes an inline colour meter. The combination of Hastelloy and Sapphire in a sealless design allows use in virtually all processes applications. The TurBiScat PM 40 determines turbidity with optimum colour compensation using scattered light measurement and is MEBAK/EBC compliant.

The photometer measures straylight in angles in both 90° and 25°. The instrument can be used widely with its dual angle measurement in breweries from brewhouse to filter cellar, over pressure tank to filling station. The operation of the sensor is monitored permanently. Calibration is easily done using a secondary reference standard.

The TurBiScat PM 40 appears in a new, fresh design with integrated coloured touchscreen display. The remarkable TurBiScat PM 40 can be identified easily in the production line. Measurement values and curves as well as data status are shown directly on point of measurement. Checking unit is integrated as well, no additional device is required. This simplifies the installation and reduces the power consumption.

The Charm II system provides comprehensive food safety testing for multiple food matrices. The Charm II system is used to test for a wide range of residues in milk, egg, fish, grain, honey, serum, tissue, urine, and water testing.

With the Charm II system, laboratories can test for the following residues:
- Antibiotics, including aminoglycosides, amphenicols, beta-lactams, macrolides, novobiocin, sulfonamides, and tetracyclines

EPIC

The Charm EPIC system is a microplate bioluminescence system that predicts spoilage in shelf-stable, ultra high temperature (UHT), and extended shelf life (ESL) beverage products.

EPIC detects ATP, a bio-marker of microbiological quality. The EPIC system can screen beverage products in as little as 24 to 36 hours.

The product is incubated in its original package (PET bottle, carton, single serve) to accelerate the microbial growth of any bacteria present. After incubation, samples are pipetted into a microplate and inserted in the EPIC system. EPIC automatically performs reagent additions, incubations, readings, and analysis. Data is managed by EPICLink software, which provides real-time analysis, trending, and editing capabilities.

Products that can be tested include white milks, flavored milks, soy beverages, creams, yogurt-based drinks, lactose-free milk, ice cream and shake mixes, rice milk, condensed milk, broths, and nutritional drinks.
